Annu Vaidya Awarded as a
Top 20 Women in Defence

Ottawa, ON, March 11, 2025 –
Arcfield Canada is honoured to announce our Director of Business Development and Growth, Annu Vaidya as one of the recipients of the Esprit de Corps Military Magazine Top Women in Defence Awards for 2025.

Throughout Annu's illustrious career in Aerospace and Defence, she has
made significant contributions to a variety of complex defence projects
and business development initiatives. Despite facing obstacles common to
women in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Vaidya attributes much
of her success to the invaluable support of mentors and champions who
guided her through challenges in sectors such as air, naval, sustainment,
and small arms.

A defining moment in Vaidya's career was her pivotal role in advancing the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) market segment at General Dynamics Missions Systems – Canada (GDMS). This groundbreaking work led to the establishment of the RPAS Centre of Excellence in Sherbrooke, QC, and earned her the prestigious GDMS President's Award in 2022.

Annu's journey serves as a testament to the power of perseverance and a strong support network in overcoming barriers and paving the way for future generations of women in the industry. Congratulations to Annu and all the esteemed recipients of the Top Women in Defence awards, as featured in the latest issue of Esprit de Corps Magazine starting on page 16.
